The Tiger Is Descending

Cheong-gyeong, a student at college, became stranded on Mt. Baekdu during a midwinter snowstorm. Fortunately, he was rescued by a local resident named Baek-beom. After entering the Shinsoo realm, Baek-beom was required to relinquish his memories but couldn’t bring himself to let go of Cheong-gyeong. Despite the need to erase his memories and send Cheong-gyeong back, the two of them spent a season together. However, Baek-beom, being human, was unable to forget his memories and continued to long for Cheong-gyeong. He erased his memories and sent Cheong-gyeong down, but couldn’t forget about him. Therefore, he made a deal with Haneul-nim to return to the human world for 100 days and bring Cheong-gyeong back with him to Mt. Baekdu. Baek-beom eventually descended from the mountain.
