Summary
Jaheon belongs to a family line of omegas, traditionally tasked with raising the children of their branch families. Every 12 years, one of these children is offered as a sacrifice to the Snake God, Lord Mugo. While many in the head family dismiss this as an outdated legend, Jaheon knows the truth. He remembers vividly that Lord Mugo appeared to him as a child, choosing him to be the next offering.
For years, Jaheon has prepared himself mentally and physically for the moment he would fulfill his destiny. However, upon entering Mugo’s lair, he quickly realizes he doesn’t want to meet his end as a sacrifice—especially after discovering that the “Lord Mugo” he revered is just one of the Snake God’s three distinct personalities.
Now, Jaheon faces a dilemma: will the Snake God show mercy to his chosen offering, or will Jaheon meet the fate he has spent his entire life preparing for?
