An Unexpected Entanglement

I saved an adorably sweet child.

I never expected that would lead to getting tangled up with his irresistibly attractive father.

“Your dad really likes Beethoven, huh?”

“It’s not Dad—it’s Mom.”

“Oh… then these are…”

“When Mom comes back, Dad will give them to her as a gift.”

I knew he had been waiting for someone for a long time.

At first, I admired his devotion, thinking it was something beautiful. But the more I got involved with him, the more I realized—maybe he wasn’t the man I imagined him to be.

He was sincere, almost painfully so. Yet, there was a part of him that felt just out of reach.
