Summary
Kim Minseong devoted a significant chunk of his life, exactly 12 years, to the game of baseball. Right from his early school days to high school, the sport was his all. Yet, a profound heartbreak over an unrequited love turned his life topsy-turvy. It’s as if his raison d’être just evaporated. Determined to shake off this gloom, he embarked on an unplanned bicycle sojourn into the rustic countryside.
However, life took a quirky twist when caught in a torrential downpour, he met with an unfortunate accident. The rain-slicked road ended up doing its job too well, and he found himself slipping and colliding with the ground. It’s in this seemingly bleak moment that a streak of luck gleamed. Close by, there was a bicycle repair shop, a haven from the rain. And lo and behold, fate had more surprises in store. The owner of the shop turned out to be none other than his high school junior, Park Hyunmin.
Warm-hearted Hyunmin, seeing Minseong’s plight, generously offered him refuge till the weather played nice. In this unexpectedly familiar setting, a casual comment turned into a comedy of embarrassment. Hyunmin, taken aback, stammered, “Wh-What are you doing?” Minseong, ever the nonchalant one, replied, “Hmm? But I don’t wear clothes to bed.” Cue the red-faced moment, as Hyunmin nearly shouted, “Put them back on!” in his flustered state.
