Yi-jae, now reincarnated as Hailey, the daughter of a noble family who tragically threw herself into the river just before her royal marriage, is haunted by an unusual ability—she can see the restless spirits that hover around King Roderick, spirits no one else should be able to see. Her days are filled with the overwhelming task of exorcising these spirits that relentlessly swarm the king, disrupting his peace.

As Yi-jae, in Hailey’s body, continues to spend time with Roderick, he begins to notice unsettling changes in his mental clarity and physical well-being. The closer they get, the more he starts to feel that something is very different—something only Hailey seems to understand.
