Haeran, the Chemical Engineer

Hae-ran’s aspires are simple but very personal: her grandfather’s health, enjoying one hot meal a day, and the aspiration to produce a work of art that would encapsulate her life.

Then, one day, there appears a strange man named Hwaseon (畵仙). A potter unlike any other—he claims he can give her whatever she desires.

His only requirement? “Be my chemist.”

What begins as an odd partnership slowly becomes something deeper—a story full of pain and fate. Hwaseon, burdened by an infinitely long life that he did not ask for, desires one thing now: an end.

Hae-ran is the only one with the capability to offer that to him.
