Summary
Having been falsely accused of committing a crime he did not, Sun-woo is forced to switch schools. His most ardent wish at this point is to keep a low profile and get through high school with as little interruption as possible. Things take a dramatic turn, however, when one of his classmates, by the name of Si-on, unexpectedly pulls him into a risky question:
“What are the requirements for us to become friends?”
At first, Si-on seems arrogant—perhaps even dishonest. But as the days go on, Sun-woo realizes that his first impressions start to disintegrate. Si-on shows tenacity, a real sincerity, and, to his surprise, is the only individual who seems to look beyond the gossip and really see him.
Then there is a surprise confession.
Sun-woo is caught off guard. He is torn within. No one has ever stood before him this close before. Also, the fact that the two of them are male complicates the situation further.
“Isn’t this a little. odd?”
Si-on only smiles with the same, playfully derisive expression. “You worry too much. Nobody else thinks it weird.”
A smirk. A promise. “Trust me.”
But below, Sun-woo can’t help but wonder—can he?
