In the modest dwelling of Mokdan, a fifteen-year-old boy struggling to survive alongside his impoverished mother, fate began to weave an extraordinary narrative. Mokdan’s life underwent a dramatic transformation when he unexpectedly reunited with his estranged father, a man of great importance, serving as the Prime Minister to the Emperor. This reunion came with an intriguing proposition – Mokdan was to assume the guise of a woman and take residence within the palace, a path that promised wealth and fame in return.

Unbeknownst to Mokdan, his father harbored a secret motive – to establish a male Empress in the palace, effectively putting an end to the royal family’s lineage. Despite the daunting implications, Mokdan chose to accept the role of Empress, driven by his deep concern for his struggling mother.

As time passed, Mokdan’s bravery and loyalty endeared him to the Emperor, gradually winning his admiration and affection. When Mokdan heroically foiled a plot to poison the Emperor, the sovereign’s heart began to open to the young Empress.

Amidst these events, a tragic incident unfolded, involving the Emperor’s younger brother, and it presented the Prime Minister with a new, cunning scheme. This scheme involved administering a special medicine to Mokdan, a medicine with a miraculous ability – granting the power for a man to conceive. To everyone’s astonishment, Mokdan astonishingly gave birth to two children.

However, despite finding solace in his newfound family, Mokdan couldn’t escape the yearning for a connection with the distant Emperor, who had been absent from his life for fifteen long years. The children, too, experienced feelings of isolation within the palace’s confines.
