Summary
Returning to Korea after an absence of eight years, Eunseo’s arrival marks a significant turning point. Her close friend Mi-yo extends an offer of accommodation, providing a temporary sanctuary for Eunseo as she navigates her way back into the rhythm of life. Originally, Eunseo’s plan is a brief respite, just a momentary pause before she sets off on her own path again. However, life takes an unexpected turn when her inner struggles catch up with her, sooner than she had anticipated. Among these challenges, one particular demon from her past emerges, demanding her attention.
Kang Mido, somewhat begrudgingly, welcomes Eunseo’s return, but his unease stems from her initial departure. Fueled by a determination to prevent history from repeating itself, Mido employs unconventional methods to keep Eunseo from slipping away once more.
Caught in a complex web of emotions and circumstances, Eunseo finds herself at a crossroads. Her situation is undeniably dire, yet, as the saying goes, familiarity, even with its challenges, may prove to be the better choice.
