Summary
Hunter Cha Eui-jae found himself tasked with sealing a rift above the West Sea. The moment the job was done, however, he was thrown violently out of the rift. When he regained consciousness, he was lying in a pile of trash, dazed and painfully hungry. Following the aroma of food, he stumbled into a humble hangover soup restaurant, only to realize he was no longer in his own time. Somehow, he had ended up in South Korea—eight years into the future.
This new era was baffling. Advanced technology now warned people about rift openings before they occurred, dungeon slimes were the stars of viral ASMR videos, and hunters casually streamed their unboxings of high-tier weapons. What was once a world gripped by fear of destruction now seemed oddly calm. Feeling out of place in this strange yet peaceful world, Eui-jae decided to leave his life as a hunter behind and start anew as a part-time worker at the hangover soup restaurant.
However, his plan to live quietly didn’t last long. A mysterious figure wearing a gas mask crossed his path, stirring something deep in his memory. “Do I know you?” they asked, throwing Eui-jae’s carefully laid plans into disarray.
