Summary
How far would you be willing to go in order to save someone you love? Taesun had to solve this dilemma when his grandfather began hovering on the borderline of life and death with huge bills in the hospital. He takes several jobs that seem to have placed him on Geumryang Mountain, which he does not know exists, and it is where a mighty serpentine spirit was located. One day, Taesun encountered a weakened being that was desperate for water and slithering along the ground. He offered to give it a sip and saved the creature. That very night, the spirit did appear to Taesun, making a hair-standing-on-end deal: if Taesun agrees to bear the ancient being’s seed, his grandfather would survive. But can Taesun really trust a serpent’s promise, or is there more to this deal than meets the eye?
