Summary
April’s early days were marked by abandonment, left in the shadows of a dim alley. However, fate took a turn when he was taken in by Mr. Kim, who ran a tattoo parlor. Years later, April finds himself in charge of the tattoo shop.
Into this chapter of his life walks Won-jae, a man seeking to erase the name “Woo-ju.” He comments, “April? That’s an unusual name.”
April hesitates, then responds, “Well, the person who raised me chose it in April.”
Won-jae, undeterred, continues, “Your birthday must be in April.”
It’s a revelation for April, abandoned in that very month of April, to hear someone acknowledge his birthday. The boundaries he had firmly set in his life start to blur, especially with Won-jae persistently breaching those boundaries. April finds himself increasingly unsettled by these developments.
