When The Phone Rings

Hong Heejoo, a mute sign language interpreter grappling with severe depression, has endured three years in a cold, loveless arranged marriage. One day, her already bleak life takes a terrifying turn when she is kidnapped. Desperate for help, she reaches out to her distant husband, only to be met with an icy dismissal:

Fueled by anger and hurt, Heejoo decides to take matters into her own hands. She devises a plan to anonymously threaten her husband, no matter the consequences.
